Menu Plus Breaking HTTPS

Hi,

I've run into an issue with the menu plus extension on one of my client's websites. If I activate the menu plus extension https is broken due to the site's logo being loaded over http. If you watch closely when the page load it initially loads over https until the js runs. I've checked in the DB and the URL for the image has been saved with https. I've cloned the site to a staging server and disabled menu plus as you will notice with menu plus disable the https on the staging site stays green.

I've also tried uploading a fresh install of GP both the theme and plugin.
