Menu not displaying properly

Hi Tom,
I have a small problem with a the advance menu module in Beaver builder.
I have it set with a contrasting hover background and text color change.
That works fine. However, the default state shows a menu selection and I cannot ascertain why that is happening.
I contacted BB but they were not helpful. They suggested it was a theme problem.
In a way I hope it is because you are a problem-solver.

Not quite sure what the problem is? I can see the menu hover color change?
Am I missing something?
Also it's definitely not a theme problem as all the CSS style for the menu are from BB.

Hmm check your custom link for that menu item?
Currently I see this: /#service. Don't think the / should be there?
