menu looks different

Hello,

This is probably a very silly question, but I am simply unable to solve the issue myself. I was watching Leo's YouTube video on post navigation (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J-VIWJiJBDQ), but I soon noticed that my menu looks totally different from his. I have installed both GeneratePress Premium and GenerateBlocks and my WordPress menu is set to Block Editor. I would have enclosed screenshots of both menus, but it looks as if this forum offers no option to do so. What I mean is the menu at the top, left side, which appears immediately after the WordPress logo.

What Leo is explaining in the video is indeed exactly what I want to implement.

Many thanks for your help!

Hello Ying,

Thank you for your prompt reply. Please find further details in the private information area. Many thanks for your help!

Kind regards,

Leo

Hi Leo,

Could you try to disable the classic editor plugin to see if the block element works then?

Hi Ying,

I've done so, but it does not change things: my menu still looks different. I have also noticed that it says "your site does not support the tadv/classic-paragraph block". Not sure what it means and how to change this.

Hope you can help.
Thank you!

Hi there,

can you temporarily disable all other plugin apart from GP Premium, clear any caches and then check to see if the menu displays correctly.

The notice: “your site does not support the tadv/classic-paragraph block”.
That means another plugin was adding a Block to the site - and i assume that plugin is no longer installed.

Hi David,

Great, that did the trick, thank you so much!

The service in this forum is unmatched!

Glad we could be of help.
