Menu box shadow and sub menu jumping

Hey guys, one more question sorry:
I have a box shadow for current page and hover for my navigation menu. I want the blue line (shadow) to appear on current and hover only on the main menu - not sub menu. I did CSS to target only the main menu items for the shadow, but when I hover and the sub menu opens and I start hovering over sub menu items, the blue shadow bar goes away and the sub menu kind of jumps up. How do I fix the jump and keep the blue line visible when hovering down over sub menu items?
HI Dave,
Try adding a transparent shadow to the menu items when they are not hovered or current.
