[Support request] Menu Below Hero Image to Sticky

Hello,
I am trying to create a one page site where the menu is displayed below a hero image and when scrolling it turns into a sticky menu. If you could help point me in the right direction I would greatly appreciate it.

Hi there,

thats fancy – that exact effect would require some custom development.

If however you want the Navigation Below a Hero then you can use a Block Element to create the Hero section:

And in the Elements > Hook select; before_header

And in Customizer > Layout > Primary Navigation set its location to After Header.

The sticky navigation should still work with it too.

Hello David,
Thank you for your response. I am having an issue getting this working. I am not seeing the “before-header” option under “Quick Hook Select”. I do see it under “Hook Name” though, but it’s not displaying anything, just pushing my header down the page. Are there varying settings from the video?

That would be the correct option to select.
