    How is it possible to add other items like linked text items (privacy policy, …) in the footer next to the site name/copyright/year while keeping the tags year and so ? Thanks

    you can add them to the Widgets > Footer Bar.

    I created a grid in footer bar/widgets with three columns but I could not manage to center it perfectly vertically or horizontally. Pleaz advise

    I wouldn’t use that method, its just going to cause you more headaches.
    Instead:

    1. In Appearance > Menus create a new menu for your Footer links.
    2. Add a Navigation Menu widget to your footer and select your new footer links menu.

    It is vertically aligned but it is too much on the right, maybe you can tell me how to center the menu so I can many items later.

    It doesn’t look like you are using David’s method above which is the better way.
