Hi there! I have mostly a one page website with anchor links as sub-menus under “Services”.

I have only one other page on the site “Reviews”. If you are on the “Reviews” page and click a sub menu item (anchor link) it does not line the linked container properly on the page.

Is there anything I can do to fix this?

Also, a second related question. I have using a three containers with the tag “section” – but other containers tagged DIV follow before the next container with the tag “section’. Is that ok?

    Thanks!

    Hi Bill,

I have only one other page on the site “Reviews”. If you are on the “Reviews” page and click a sub menu item (anchor link) it does not line the linked container properly on the page.

I’m not exactly sure what you mean by this.

Are you pertaining to this occurence when landing on a anchor – https://share.getcloudapp.com/eDugBrPO

When it’s supposed to be something like this? https://share.getcloudapp.com/o0u78Yqj

If that’s the case, consider Tom’s suggestions here –

Thanks Elvin. The issue when you select the anchor links in the menu from other page on the site. But I was able to solve it and other issues with the plugin: Page scroll to id

For anyone else who reads this:

    It has options to:

Verify target position and readjust scrolling (if necessary), after scrolling animation is complete

Extend target position verification and scrolling adjustment for lazy-load scripts (images, iframes etc.) and changes in document’s length

Selecting both of those options work like a charm. It also has the offset for sticky menus.

Thanks for sharing it with us. Glad you got it sorted. 😀
