Hello,
I would like to make the site header box bigger. Is there a way to do this?

Hi there,
in Customizer > Layout > Header you can change the Header Width and Inner Header Width to make the site header wider. Or you can increase reduce the padding to adjust its height.
If you want to show more of the header image, you can adjust the padding of the Appearance > Elements > Header Element:
