    Hello,

I tried to add a mega menu to my https://gohydrology.org website using Max Mega Menu. However, I didn’t like the way it looked, and in particular the submenu showed larger font that I couldn’t figure out how to fix so I disabled it and tried to mind another simpler way to do it. (I also suspected it was a resource heavy plugin – not sure). Basically, I have two primary menu items: “Products” and “Basins” that will have more than 8 items, and in the case of “Basins” it could balloon to over a dozen or two.

My question: I saw this link on the Generate Press Forum (https://docs.generatepress.com/article/building-simple-mega-menu/), but I couldn’t get it to work. In recent days I’ve also had great success using Generate Block dynamic elements. I was wondering what the latest and greatest is on mega menus and if you have any recommendations in the light of the info above.

    Many thanks,

    Bob

    Hi Bob,

There’re 2 parts of the instruction:

    1. Add the CSS.

    2. Add the CSS class to the parent menu item, in your case it’s Products and Basins.

Dynamic elements can not be used in this case.

Let me know if you run into difficulties using the simple mega menu solution of GP.
