Media Settings - Image sizes - What does Tom recommend?

Here's one for you Tom... Given the default settings of GP, what would your recommended image sizes be in http://www.xyz.com/wp-admin/options-media.php?, taking into consideration sidebar width's and responsive break points?
Hi Pete,
Honestly, I never really change those.
It all depends on the width of your site and how you're displaying images (masonry etc..).
Everything has different needs when it comes to images, but I think most people get by just fine with the defaults :)
