Max Mega Menu in mobile - columns not matching up
8 replies · Started by Brian on January 26, 2017
My site is http://www.TheBahamas.com. Please compare how the menu looks on PC and on mobile. On PC the links are displayed with the correct image under them. On mobile, the columns are messed up and links and images are jumbled.
Potentially the issue has something to do with conflicting CSS between Max Mega Menu and GeneratePress.
I do have the premium version of GeneratePress.
Thank you for any help you might be able to provide.
Hi Brian,
It looks to me that Max Mega Menu has taken control of the entire mobile menu and there's no GP code in it at all.
I'll ask Tom to confirm this.
Have you tried asking them?
Does it display correctly when you use one of the twenty series themes?
Leo,
Thank you. I think the way I was trying to use Max Mega Menu is not going to work with mobile. Instead of putting links and trying to display images under them, I will forget the links and just display the images.
The issue maybe didn't have anything to do with GeneratePress.
Thank you.
Brian
It looks better doing what I just said (photos serving as links), but here is another issue that is coming up:
On mobile, there is not enough room for all the photos within the sub-menu to show up. But it is not possible to scroll down within the menu.
I'm not sure if this is related to Generate Press or not?
Thank you
Nah it's not - I think the the plugin has taken over the entire navigation structure (not just in mobile)..
Okay sorry, I managed to answer my own question. Couldn't scroll down within the menu because "sticky" was activated in mobile (menu bar would stick to top of screen).
I see. It looks nice now!
Hi Tom
I have noticed that the site on the mobile is behaving strange. It is possible to reduce the size of screen to less than the actual size of display. How can I limit the possibility for reduction of display width to just the size of actual display.

Hi Kathy,
I don't quite get the question but I don't think the issue is related to this existing topic?
If so could you start a new topic so others might find it useful? Thanks.
