Masonry Not Working in Full-Width Sidebar Layout

I'd like to have a Masonry layout for posts with the full width of the screen, but when I choose the (no sidebars) option on the page it either makes all the posts disappear, or it doesn't remove the sidebar at all (as of posting, this is the behavior; full-width is selected but the sidebar remains). Ideas?

FYI I'm using a child theme.

Okay, I figured it out. I had to change the setting in Customizer (instead of the page-level) at Customize > Layout > Sidebars > Blog Sidebar Layout.
