Dear Sir/Madam,

I customized my site before I importing the site-library, after import, many setting lost, may I know other than the Woocommerce default pages changed, any others? Is there a list that I can reference?

I found menu, WPML footer switcher lost.

Regarding the WPML switcher, I can see the switcher from desktop view but not mobile. How can I fix?

Could you please help?

Best regards,

Kelvin

FYI. I found the menu are different between home page and shop page

Hi there,

Site Imports will update the following:

1. All Customizer > Setting
2. Site logo / identity.
3. Customizer > Additional CSS
4. Menus - your original menus won't be overwritten - they will still exist, but new menus will be added to existing locations
5. Widget areas - if the site import changes widget options.
6. Footer copyright information.
7. Woocommerce endpoints Checkout / Cart etc.

I think thats about it. It won't overwrite or remove any static pages, posts, products or media on the original site.

For the WPML language switcher. Its in the Mobile menu, To add it to the Mobile Header you would need to use a HooK Element to add the WPML shortcode to geneate_menu_bar_items hook:

Dear David,

As I remember, I don't need to manage the hook for the menu bar items, is it because of site import overwrite something?

I found the Element footer only be showed in English, I think it is because site import only imports English even though my default language is Traditional Chinese.

How can I make the footer show in Traditional Chinese if I don't plan to translate the English content into Chinese?

Best regards,

Kelvin.

Dear David,

I find Elements only be created for English, I try to edit them and translate them but display rules won't be copied, please advise how I can translate the Elements

Best regards,

Kelvin

In Appearance > Elements you will find the various Block Elements the site uses, you will need to edit each one and update the text within.
