I am trying to make my header tighter – namely, I want less white space in my header.

If you check out my website, you’ll see that there is a lot of unnecessary white space in my header. The thing is, my header image is cropped perfectly, right above the dog’s head and below his feet. Yet somehow this extra white space in my header always appears.

I’ve tried several different header sizings/dimensions and tried messing a bit with header setting but to no success.

Any chance you can help me out? Thanks so much!

I can’t see your site, but are you adjusting the spacing options with the spacing addon to remove white space above and below?

    With CSS, .inside-header {padding-top:10px; padding-bottom:10px;} should work

Thanks SO much Mikei – that did it! You are my hero, thanks again.

Thanks, Mikei – that code is perfect! 🙂

Another option for those not comfortable with CSS is the Spacing Addon.
