[Support request] Make Page Featured Images like in blog posts

I am using the Generatepress site with demo content from “Info”.
Now i created a new page an uploaded a new featured image. As i can see the theme is using for pages exactly the same dimension from the image I have uploaded.
In blog posts the theme is changing the size of the image automatically.
Is there any possibility to add this mechanism of “autoscaling” of the images from blog posts also for the page featured image? Or is it possible to make the same featured image design for pages, as we have for the blog post featured image?

Hi there,

the site is using Block Elements to design various layouts of the page, including the Page Hero.
They are saved in Appearance > Elements, and when viewing a page you will see any active elements in the Admin Bar > Elements menu.

Edit the Element titled: Post page hero
Select the Image Block and in Block Settings > Height – remove the 400px.

thanks for the instruction, this is working fine for me.
Now i created my custom Element. The featured image is dynamic in the Container. Once i select a feature image on my site it is displaye twice. Any idea where it comes from?

I see. Can you check if the Featured Image is disabled in the Block Element settings? Reference: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/block-element-page-hero/#disable-featured-image

If it isn’t, disable it.
