Hi there,

the page would need to be set to a Full Width Content Container:

https://docs.generatepress.com/article/content-container/

OR if you're using a Block Element - Page Hero then it will be full width by default

https://docs.generatepress.com/article/block-element-page-hero/

Now, for either of those, add a GB Container Block, and in its Spacing settings set the Minimum Height to 100 vh - note the vh units has to be selected as this ViewPort Height.

thank you David!!!

it works perfect.

have a nice weekend

Glad to hear that. You too!

Hi there,

I'm new to GP and GB and I'm trying to do the same. On a new page I've set the "Content Container" to Full width. Inside the page I put a GB Container and set the minimum height to 100vh. The background of this Container is a huge hero image. But the problem is the navigation bar on top of the page. This navigation bar comes first and after that the Container with the hero-image begins. Is it possible to integrate the navigation bar into the Container, so that there is a full viewport hero?

Hi Stefanie,

It's possible. Can you start a new topic and share the link to the site in question there?

You may use the Private Information field for this: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/using-the-premium-support-forum/#private-information

Can you also let us know if you mean something like this when you say "integrate the navigation"?: https://share.getcloudapp.com/xQuOpWLe - The navigation is inside the Page Hero. Or, are you wanting to place the navigation out of the Page Hero, but integrated with the "100vh"?

Let us know which you prefer through a new topic.
