Major Gap between header and blog

Hello- There is a huge gap between the header and the blog. Can this be corrected with the add-ons? I have played with all of the spacing option.

Hi there,

That gap is happening because the items in your header widget are so tall.

If you remove that video widget from the header, the space will reduce dramatically.

Thank you so much. Fix was done. I am new to WP but am having trouble identifying exactly what secondary navigation is and how it would apply to my site. Can I see an example link with this? Also, what is the best widget or plugin for custom links on the side of the site.

What kind of custom links? Just regular links in the widget?

If so, you can use a Text widget and add this HTML:

<a href="http://generatepress.com">GeneratePress</a>
<a href="http://google.com">Google</a>
<a href="http://wordpress.org">WordPress</a>

And so on.

Then check the “Automatically add paragraphs” checkbox and you’re good to go 🙂
