Main Page Setting

When I make a new post, the excerpt is on my main page with the "more" link working correctly, when clicked on, taking the reader to the proper category where the full story and a pic are displayed. Is it possible to add a thumbnail pic to the excerpt on the main page.

Yes I tried that, if you click the Canucks in SinCity you will see the front page thumbnail as a larger picture at the top of the "full" article. If this is how it works I can deal with it, just don't care much for the larger size.
You can adjust the size and positioning in "Customize > Layout > Blog".
Go to the Featured Images area, and click the "Posts" tab.
There you'll see sizing options, as well as alignment.
