Chris
Is it possible to set the main navigation in the sidebar as collapsible instead of static?
Would like to be able to expand the menu as needed.
Thanks

Lead DeveloperLead DeveloperHi there,
This would likely require some custom development/javascript.
Do you have any examples of what you’re after?

I do not. But when I create a submenu, the main navigation on the left sidebar adds it to the list. I’d prefer something that is expandable or not to expand at all. Thanks.

Lead DeveloperLead DeveloperHave you tried using our Secondary Nav module? It has expandable sub-menus.

Hey Tom,
Tried secondary menu but still no love.
Can you provide some documentation on this?
Thanks.

Lead DeveloperLead DeveloperWhat about it, exactly? I’m still not 100% clear on what you’re wanting to achieve which makes it tough to make suggestions. Any sort of example would be very helpful.

Hi Tom,
In the left nav sidebar, any submenu items added automatically appear below the main. We have hundreds of pages that will be added and would prefer to have some type of expandable menu to avoid clutter. Does that kind of make sense? I’ve added a screenshot. Thanks.

Lead DeveloperLead DeveloperThe Secondary Nav should do exactly that. You’d make a new menu in “Appearance > Menus”, then apply it to the Secondary menu location.
Then in “Customize > Layout > Secondary Navigation” you would set it to appear in the left sidebar.
That should give you the result you’re looking for.
