[Resolved] Main Menu not clickable when has submenu

Hello Team,

Under Photographers menu item, I have submenu items. If I remove submenu items, main menu item is clickable but if I add, it’s not clickable. I want main menu item to be clickable when it has submenu items.

Pls advice what am I missing.

Hi there,

in Customizer > Layout > Primary Navigation you can change the Navigation Dropdown behaviour. Choose either the Hover or Click - Arrow if you want the parent item to be clickable.

I have been struggling with this problem also. But choosing hover or click arrow is still problematic.
When I choose “hover” then the sububmenu opens but doesn’t stay visible long enough to click on a submenu item. The primary and submenu items work correctly if Click Arrow is selected, but I don’t think people will intuitively click the arrow to see the whole menu (submenu items). “Hover” is the most intuitive choice and the way I’ve always set my menus to work.

So the problem is that the Hover setting doesn’t work properly. That needs to be fixed. For now I’m leaving it set on “click arrow” because thats the only setting that actually works properly. But thats not the way I want the menu to work.

Hope your team can fix this.
