[Support request] Loop when active license

Hi friends please help me,

when i am trying to activate a theme with premium license i see an endless loop, see picture below

how can i solve this?

Hi Francisco,

Try disabling all cache/optimization plugins you have, then in Settings > Permalinks click Save Changes to rebuild permalinks. Then retry.

If that doesn’t work try using the Secondary API – see here: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/403-forbidden-when-activating-license-key/#secondary-api

If that doesn’t work, check with your hosting provider if the have a security setting that may cause such an issue – for instance, they have the REST API disabled.

Hi there,

go to Appearance > GeneratePress then Right Click > Inspect the page to open the Browser developers tools.
Check the Console tab for any errors ( in red ).
Then click update

Let us know what if any errors appear

Ok, can so the REST API ( wp-json ) is not loading as the requests is being made to a HTTP URL.
Can you go to Dashboard > Settings > General and check that the 2 URLS there are HTTPS ?
