    Hello,

Is there any way from WordPress or cPanel to change the Page Source so noone can see I’m using this theme? Please let me know what I need to do or can’t do.

    Hi there,

    You would need to:

    1. Change the generatepress folder name in wp-content/themes/
    2. Change the theme name in the style.css file – this will prevent you from receiving updates to the theme.

    Hello @Tom,

If I followed the steps you mentioned above, can I still update the Theme manually instead of receiving auto-update?

P.S I am also using a child theme. Could you please advise about the required steps?

    Thank You @Tom

    Hi there,

each update would need to re-install the GP Theme when an update occurs and then make those changes again.

The Child Theme would be exactly the same you would need to rename the files to yourThemename_child and make those changes within the comments of the child theme style sheet.
