I would like to know how I can add a slider where to place logos (something like our clients or our brands)

You will need a slider plugin.
My personal choice would be Smart Slider 3.

Is it mandatory to have the pro version, or can I do the animated logo slider with the free version?
Hi there,
you would need to check with SmartSlider but i do believe the Pro version is required for that kind of thing.
