Logo Size

I type in a title and tagline, and then upload a small (100 x 20) gif with the logo and name. But it expands and is larger in width and height than the title and tagline. Is there a way to keep it about the same size as the title and tagline width? With typography, I was able to raise the tagline font size so it ended up about the same width as the title. But can I control the logo width to match? Thanks.
I think I may have solved my own problem. Redid the image with a png logo instead of a jpg, resaved it as a gif and now it's keeping to whatever size I set it to in PS.
