hi ๐
I have just again a little experimenting, because me this matter can not rest.
If I delete the domain from the plugin “domain mapping”, then it is possible to customize the theme. Do I must delete the domains, to customize the theme? That would be counterproductive. Any Idea? ๐July 14, 2015 at 9:09 am #120946Tom
Lead DeveloperLead DeveloperI just did a search for “MU domain mapping customizer” – you’ll see a lot of people have this issue.
Are you using the latest version of everything (WordPress etc..)?
July 14, 2015 at 9:40 am #120958summerfeeling
Yes. I have the latest version of WordPress (4.2.2). My plugins are all up to date.
I have of course also questioned Google and used the search function of Generate press. Unfortunately, nothing of what helped me. Especially since the links were partially 3 years old and refer to the help pages that no longer exist. I should at this point also mention that my English is not very good. ๐
Does that mean I have to live with this error? That would be a great pity. Then I can could no longer use Custumizer. After I sat down with Customizer intensively and also bought the pro version, I would be very sad, it is no longer to be used.July 14, 2015 at 10:04 am #120974Tom
Lead DeveloperLead DeveloperI just tested GP on a multi site install using the domain mapping plugin – everything worked as it should.
When you’re accessing the Dashboard, are you using the mapped URL, or the URL you set up when you added the site in multi site? You should be using the mapped URL.

Hey ๐ I’m glad you found it.
As Tom said, he noticed there is a padding on the right side.
You could try accessing your site with the File Manager on the host, and download the CSS files of the responsible plugin ( if it has any, there could be none, there could be more ).
Try to look for something like
img { padding:123px; }Something similar anway.
I hope this helps.
If not, I don’t really know any JS, if JS is the cause.

WOW .. WOW .. WOW … That was it! I have always gone with the main domain to the editing. I have to my shame but also confess that I negligently in the websites setting the domain and path have not been restated. I beg your pardon! ๐
As for the logo, I have your suggestion now controls:
http://generatepress.com/forums/topic/logo-responsive/#post-120761I guess that is why I have chosen on the right a distance of 500px, because I wanted the logo right-justified. This distance I have now been removed. How can I place the logo on a site I want to stay?
Thank you so much the way again for the help with the “editing of the theme”. ๐ You guys are great! ๐

Lead DeveloperLead DeveloperEven if you remove the right padding in Element Spacing, it should still be left justified.
You can change the alignment of your header in “Customize > Layout > Header alignment”.
