Hello There,
thank you first for the great theme. Even without graphic processing, can be quickly new themes create. With some graphical workup for example the menu, great designs quickly come to the fore. Excellent!
But there is also something I despair: When I insert a logo in the size of 510×91 px, mobile shown this is not optimized. Did I miss something?Happy about response. :))
Best Regards

Lead DeveloperLead DeveloperHi there,
Your logo should resize to fit on mobile devices without any issues – can you possibly post a link so I can take a look at what’s happening?
Glad you’re enjoying working with GP! ๐

Lead DeveloperLead DeveloperSorry about that – was about 12AM when you posted, had to get some sleep.
I’m getting a 404 not found error when trying to reach that site, can you double check?

Hello :))
I apologize … We have today transferred a domain. Apparently, the DNS servers are not all updated. I deleted the domain from the multisite installation. I have checked it: The link should work again. I apologize again for any inconvenience. ;))
I look forward to your feedback. :))July 10, 2015 at 4:20 pm #120077Tom
Lead DeveloperLead DeveloperSame URL? I’m still seeing the 404 error.

If you are using any custom CSS plugins or modified the code, you must’ve set something like
img { width:200px;}or something, that overwrites the GP code.
Did you use any custom CSS ?
Be more specific with the classes of the img tag, something like
.class .subclass .subsubclass img { code:value; }July 13, 2015 at 11:06 am #120729summerfeeling
Hello There,
I beg your pardon. I was very busy … ๐
No … I have not changed anything in the CSS file. At least not consciously. Once the domain transfer has now work, would also have the page are displayed correctly and the link should now also work.
Should I install a CSS plugin and then slightly change the CSS settings? Since I have installed a multi-site and several sites have been created, some plugins are already installed. Could it be that they are in conflict with the mobile presentation?
How can I go to the cause of the incident? I despair. ๐Thank you for your attention. Thank you for your reply.
Best Regards

No, if no custom CSS is added, the logo should fit on its own.
First, make sure you have activated your e-mail for GeneratePress, and then make sure you are up to date with the latest version.
Maybe this fixes the problem.
Then, yes it is very possible that other plugins have CSS or some other codes that is in conflict with the GP code. Try deactivating and reactivating one plugin at a time, and check if it is ok.
Or you can deactivate all plugins, and activate them one at a time, check the front page each time to see which one affects it.
But basically if you deactivate them all and the problem persists, then it’s not the plugins.

Did you upload the image through the customizer? If so, try a different size logo, see if same problem happens. Just add some transparent top and bottom margins to the logo to make it like 110 pixels in height.

Lead DeveloperLead DeveloperAh, your link is working now ๐
This is happening because you have a bunch of padding in your header element, which is carrying over onto mobile.
Any reason why you added 450px of padding to the right side of the header?

Hello there,
thank you for your answers. ๐
I wanted to just check: But now I have the problem that I can`t adjust anything in “Customize Theme”. I have the memory limit in PHP ini adjusted to 128M and in the wp-config.php too. But the egg timer runs and runs. I am slowly but surely despair. ๐ What is the reason then? I have disabled all plugins. But nothing is happening. I love customizer. But i have problems to use it… ;(
Best Regards

Lead DeveloperLead DeveloperYou’ve tried with all non-GP plugins deactivated? This usually happens because of a JS error in another plugin.
What browser are you using?

Hello There,
I disabled again Plugin for Plugin individually. And I have found that the following plugin is responsible for the error:
WordPress MU Domain Mapping
https://wordpress.org/plugins/wordpress-mu-domain-mapping/
This plugin is however essential for the productive use of my MultiSite. How can I fix the problem now so that I can work productively again with Customizer. I would indeed correct the problem with the mobile view. ๐Best Regards
