Logo Not Appearing Correctly in Header
5 replies · Started by Mike on November 1, 2017
Hi Tom -- New to Generate Press and sorry if I've missed something obvious, but for some reason I am having trouble adding a logo to the site header -- I've tried PNG and JPG versions, and in the customize > site identity tab the logo looks just fine, but on the page itself the logo does not appear and instead it writes out the name of the site.
Please take a look -- appreciate the help and the great theme --
Mike
Hi there,
Hmm the logo URL is not working: https://i1.wp.com/thelsattrainer.academy/wp-content/uploads/cropped-Artboard-2-w-bg.png?fit=350%2C70
Maybe try re-upload into WordPress media?
Hi Leo - thanks for the reply -- I've tried re-uploading, and, inside WP media, the link given for the element -- http://staging17.thelsattrainer.academy/wp-content/uploads/cropped-Artboard-2-w-bg.png -- works just fine -- so, I think the link is getting changed / messed up somehow -- do you have any suggestions?
Did you re-select the logo in the customizer as well once it's re-uploaded?
Any caching plugins?
If not can you run through #1 here? https://docs.generatepress.com/article/debugging-tips/
Thanks Leo -- it's fixed now -- interestingly enough, deactivating all plugins fixed the issue, but then, when I reactivated the plugins again (one by one) the problem never come back. Thanks again.
Sounds like a caching issue.
No problem!
