Hello,
We recently changed our site over from http: to https:, and are slowly resolving a few resulting issues. The logo from the main navigation header(that appears in the upper left corner) disappeared after the switch. I was able to get it back on the home page and on the mobile view, but on all other pages (viewed on the computer screen) the logo is missing. Any tips on how to get the logo back?

Try re-uploading the navigation logo:
https://docs.generatepress.com/article/navigation-logo/Let me know if this helps 🙂
March 8, 2019 at 8:49 am #833054DarylIt looks like it is still not showing on pages other than home and mobile.
March 8, 2019 at 9:26 am #833094DavidStaffCustomer SupportHi there,
re-save your original logo with a different file name, and then re-upload it to the site. Clear any caches you have afterwards.
March 8, 2019 at 11:54 am #833234DarylI did create a new file and name and reload. I changed file type and shrunk it for faster load speed, but still does not show up on most pages. IT does show up on all pages in the WP / Elementor editor…as did most the other image links we lost going from HTTP to HTTPS, but the logo does not show up when we view in a plain browser.
March 8, 2019 at 5:23 pm #833389TomLead DeveloperLead DeveloperDo you have any caching plugins or server caching? If so, can you try to clear the cache?
If not, do you have any custom functions added to the site?
March 8, 2019 at 8:55 pm #833436DarylIve cleared the cache several times at the super cacher level on SiteGround….and the cache purge via SG optimizer and looked around more and found the W3 total cache and cleared that…Still no love.
As far as custom functions…honestly, I’m a bit of a low end user and might need more explanation as I don’t really know what you mean by that.
Site was built using the generate press luxedo site.
To make the HTTPS magic happen I used Better Search Replace plugin and the Elementor helper to change the http to https link…. I fixed several other photos that disappeared, but this logo in the header menu on all the pages except the home page…seems to be a mystery. It does place the image title in the spot where the image logo is suppose to be and the title is clickable to return the user to the home page. Since clearing the cache…there is a little broken link type icon showing along with the image title in chrome and Brave Browsers…Fire fox just displays the Title.

March 9, 2019 at 9:31 am #833986TomLead DeveloperLead DeveloperAny chance you can send me temporary admin login details so I can take a quick look?
If so, you can send them through the Account Issue form: https://generatepress.com/contact
Just be sure to mention this topic.
Thanks! 🙂
March 9, 2019 at 10:14 am #834020DarylMore FWIW — On the home page and blog post, the Narrative Logo from the Primary Navigation setting shows up On the rest of the pages…you get a missing image icon (chrome, Brave, Safari) with the Site Identity> site title showing up as a hot link to the home page. Firefox doesn’t show the missing image icon, just the site identity> site title link. Mobile – seems to show the customize > layout >header >Mobile header logo.
March 9, 2019 at 10:39 am #834033TomLead DeveloperLead DeveloperFound the issue. The nav logo was being overwritten in your Page Header. I removed it and everything looks good now 🙂
March 9, 2019 at 10:44 am #834039DarylAwesome Tom, VERY Much appreciated. I will put the correct logo back in soon.
Have noticed that there are some little horns that hang down into the header as the slider loads…think they are related to this? Also seemed to start happening when I did the upgrade to HTTPS.
March 9, 2019 at 5:15 pm #834198TomLead DeveloperLead DeveloperNot sure I’m seeing that. Did you get it fixed?
Let me know 🙂
October 4, 2020 at 4:21 pm #1472205TWMA SupportHi Tom
I am having the same issue where did you make the fix and how so that I can fix things on the site I am working on.
This is happening on some of my woocommerce pages such as the catalogue product listing page, child catalogue page, the my account page, the cart and the checkout page (from what I can see)
Thanks
