Stuart
Is it possible to put a logo in the primary navigation bar – if so how do you do it?

StaffCustomer SupportYou can use the Menu Plus addon in the Customizer
“Customize > Layout > Primary Navigation > Sticky Navigation Logo”
Then you’ll want to change sticky navigation logo position to either sticky and regular or desktop only.

It’s active and I still can’t see it – can you tell me what is above and below it on the primary nav options?

Lead DeveloperLead DeveloperGlad you found it.
In the next version it’s visible whether sticky nav is on or off.

Can the logo be placed to the left of the primary nav without the nav being sticky? The sticky nav is a nice feature, but it interferes with jumping to anchor link locations. My preference would be to have the option of placing the logo in the nav whether it’s sticky or not, but I’m ok with the way it is now if there’s a simple override for the anchors. Thanks.

StaffCustomer SupportI’m not 100% sure the look you are after but try:
– Upload the logo in Customizer > Site Identity > Logo
– Customizer > Layout > Primary Navigation > Navigation Position > Float Right
– Customizer > Layout > Primary Navigation > Sticky Navigation > Disable
Let me know if that’s what you are after πDocumentation: http://docs.generatepress.com/

Lead DeveloperLead DeveloperThe above works if you want the entire header, but if you want to use the navigation only:
1. Customize > Layout > Primary Navigation > Enable the sticky navigation
2. Upload the navigation logo
3. Choose the navigation logo position so it’s set to Regular + Sticky
4. Disable the sticky navigationIn the next version, step 1 and 4 are no longer necessary.

Thanks for the recommendations. Tom’s recommendation worked for me, but I had to change step 3 to set the navigation logo position to “Regular Only”. “Regular+Sticky” made the logo disappear when I disabled sticky navigation, but maybe something in my other customization settings caused that.

Glad it’s working!
