logo has text behind it. if i disable gp pro plugin the site works. it happened after I installed the landing page template and or after installing blocks plugin. I cannot find anything in the forum for this issue. my site is joe-holmes.com

Hi Joe,

Go to appearance > elements, check if there's a Header element.

If so, click edit, and change Merge with header option to No merge under the site header tab.

Let me know :)

thanks for this information, however it has nothing to do with my issue. My site looked fine until I tried to use the landing page template. Something went wrong and it is in generatepress. I can get my site to look like it was when I disable generatepress plugin.
Please view my site joe-holmes.com and help with the issue. I will need to get a backup from my host or reload generatepress if you can not fix this problem. I came here to not just see what to do but to also inform you that your template caused this problem.

Hi Joe,

Have you tried Ying's suggestion? It actually has something to do with the issue.

"Landing" site library template adds a Header element that's set to merge.

What happens here is, when a Header Element is set to merge, the header section of the page is set to overlay the page content.

The text you see behind the logo is actually the content of the page, specifically, the first heading added on the content area of the page.

The logo overlayed on top of "Overcome trauma, grief, guilt, illnness, PTSD, depression, failures, can not make goals work, abuse, anger, suicide feelings, and sadness so you can love Your Life!" h1 tag. https://share.getcloudapp.com/2NulwEGn

Yes, I have tried to make the header element but either I have done it wrong or it is not fixing the problem. I have cleared my cache and it too does not fix the problem.

You have to edit the existing one that applies the "merge" instead of making a new one. :)

If you can provide us backend access, we can check the element list and point you to the one to edit. You can use the private information text field to provide the details. :D
