Hi,
I have searched the forum and the "post that might help" before posting, so I'm sorry if this has been answered.

When getting a logo designed (for web not print), is it best to get it in it's native designed size and then re-size using something like photoshop to the desired size for the theme? If so, can the settings in the customizer be left alone?

Is the size theme specific for things like mobile, tablet and desktop? I'm referring to the Relay theme in this instance, but also enquiring for other sites using other GP themes in the future.

Cheers!

Hi Simon,

I would strongly recommend design the logo in SVG format, as it can be enlarged or shrunken without loosing quality.

If you are using an image logo with JPG/PNG format, it's not so great to change its size freely with CSS or customizer.

If so, can the settings in the customizer be left alone?

No, the size from customizer will still be applied to the logo.

It depends on your header/primary navigation settings, it's kind of complicated, but yes, you should be able to use different sizes.

hi Ying,
Thanks for answering, SVG it is!
Best

You are welcome :)
