Just an FYI, but it took me quite a while to luck on to the answer.
I was trying to get my logo (on left) and menu (float right) to line up and they just wouldn’t go. It turned out that, even though I didn’t have a tagline for the blog I had to turn it off in customize header. Once I did that everything went the way I wanted it … just a little bug and the fix for now if anyone else hits it.

Ah yea, knew about this. I’ll put it on the list to make sure the elements disappear if there’s nothing set – right now it depends on the disable checkboxes 🙂
This will be fixed in 1.3.05 🙂
