Hi,
I’m using the GP Premium “Target” theme.
This theme does not have a “login” link on the front page.
Please let me know how can I add a “login” link (which can also be used as a sign-up link, if the user does not have an account) to the top menu, without sacrificing the theme design (and/or responsiveness)
One way to achieve this is through creating a Block Element, and then adding a WordPress core – Login/out Block, and then hooking this Element to menu_bar_items as such: https://share.getcloudapp.com/geum1kGg
Hope this helps! Kindly let us know if further assistance is needed. 🙂
Hi Fernando,
Thanks for the response.
That looks like a cool idea.
However, I do not want the “logout” link to appear when logged in to the site.
The idea is to keep a user logged in by default and I’ll provide a (little concealed) logout link somewhere else.
Can you suggest something that will enable this?
you can still apply what Fernando suggests, in the Block Elements Display Rules you can set the User rule to Logged out. This will make it so the Login Logout Block is only displayed when the user is logged out.
