Hi there,

I am using ezoic and I have trouble with loading the off canva menu, while also having activated the script delay from ezoic leaps...

So, that means, that user has to wait a few seconds (feels like a long time in sense of usability), until off canva opens and slides in.

It seems to me, that off canva menu is waiting, for the whole page loaded completly, have an idea, how I can fix this?

I tried already to have still activated script delay in ezoic, but the problem still remains...

Thanks and best regards
Michael

Hi there,

the issue will be related to the Script Delay function in Ezoic.
With that option disabled, clear any Ezoic and Browser caches to make sure it works correctly.

Then speak to Ezoic and ask them how to exclude scripts from the Script Delay feature.
The name of the script file the off canvas uses is: offside.min.js
I am not sure if its also deferring the loading of the CSS files, if it is - then CSS file is called: offside.min.css

Hello,

yes, exactly the script Delay function is the problem.

I can set in Ezoic that the script should not be loaded with a delay, but unfortunately that doesn't help (even if the cache is deleted and deactivated).

I also set the CSS as critical, that also has no effect, my last idea is the following:

There is a checkbox with which you can set that scripts that are marked with: "no-defer" may not be loaded with a delay. Is there a place where I can set this in GP.

If not, I'll probably ask Ezoic support why it doesn't work.

Thanks and best regards

Thanks, I tried the same way, so I put the script to ezoic’s Script Delay Exclusion Rules settings, but the behaviour didn't change.

I contacted the support, so hopefully tommorow, I have new ideas.

I will post solution in this thread.

Best regards!

Let us know :)

Hi there,

after many days ezoic fixes that in Leap, not that stable, all 2 or 3 days I have to delete the Cache, but ok, it works mainly.

Thanks!

Glad to hear they 'kind of' fixed it.
