It’s not a load script issue. It’s a CSS issue in the default “rumour” layout. Your default setting for that layout has them invisible it looks on mobile or something.
You are not seeing the “featured images” load. What you are seeing is the article photo for the author. The issue here is the “featured images” for the article.
I am using an iphone X with safari. Other staff members of our site are seeing exactly what I am seeing.
Maybe we should get Tom in on this one or something.

Here is footage that I just took on a fresh install, fresh plugin with premium, no cache.
Featured images ARE NOT DISPLAYING on load more.

StaffCustomer SupportLet’s do a little more testing if you don’t mind.
Can you temporarily comment out all the CSS and disable all plugins except GP Premium.
Then in GP Premium, keep all modules disabled except Blog:
https://docs.generatepress.com/article/installing-gp-premium/#activate-your-modulesThen make sure you are using the parent theme.
Does that help with the issue at all?

Here is more footage of the images not loading in google chrome when testing the elements. There is something wrong with the CSS.

“Then make sure you are using the parent theme.”
This isn’t the problem. The problem is the rumor theme ONLY! I am not using any other plugins at all.

I just did all this. Problem is still there.

StaffCustomer SupportYes I understand. I just want to make sure you are using the parent GP theme, and not a child theme.
Site library doesn’t import child themes.
Thanks for your patience.

StaffCustomer SupportSorry I’m definitely having a hard to see why the script isn’t working for you in your install.
Since the current environment you’ve set up is basically the default install, I don’t think it has anything to do with Rumour.
I also just did a fresh install of Rumour and couldn’t replicate the problem. Can you test it for me and see if everything is working correctly on your end too?
https://wordpress-202309-991531.cloudwaysapps.com/Thanks 🙂

StaffCustomer SupportThanks for testing.
I’m a little more confused now. My site was a fresh Rumour install so that basically eliminated Rumour from being the cause of your issue.
I’ll try to do a little more digging in your install and get back to you.
Just to confirm one more time, in your install, everything works before you imported Rumour?
June 7, 2020 at 8:58 pm #1318593Leo
StaffCustomer SupportActually I might have found something here.
Right click on your page and use the browser inspect tool, then click console errors, this is what I am seeing:
https://www.screencast.com/t/lHA7VnHCj574If you are seeing the same, can you check with our host to see if there is something going on there? The name of that file should not be a WordPress default file.
Maybe try re-installing WordPress and see if it helps?
June 7, 2020 at 9:02 pm #1318594stephen
No, I do not have the 404 error.
June 7, 2020 at 9:06 pm #1318595Leo
StaffCustomer SupportOk did a little more testing and definitely getting stranger.
I just tried chrome incognito mode on my phone and the issue disappeared.
Can you give that a shot?
