List of recommended plugins for GeneratePress

I've been looking at ways to optimize GeneratePress speed as well as general SEO capabilities, and I've seen your post about optimizing the site, but I wanna ask if you would make a recommended plugins overview for plugins that do caching, SEO, etc.
There are so many of these plugins, that it's a jungle to go through to be honest.

YoastSEO would be the best option for SEO.

It's always good to get plugin recommends from people who know what they're doing. How about a math or text captcha plugin to add to the comments? I've barely make my blog public, and already I've gotten a porn bot trying to comment on one of the posts. But I'm trying to avoid captchas that are inaccessible. Thoughts?
There's tons of them out there, including services like Akismet.
Look for plugins with good reviews and active developers :)
