[Resolved] List of compatible plug-ins

Hello.
I appreciate GeneratePress and that’s why I want to keep using it.

But I see in the market options that are coming out, like Kadence Theme PRO, which gets better speed metrics, especially in mobile version, and also has many addons, like sliders or portfolio gallery, separated in plugins so as not to slow down the web if you don’t need them.

These plugins are from Kadence’s own team, so you can be sure that there will be no incompatibilities

My suggestion is whether Tom can recommend a list of lightweight GeneratePress compatible plugins so we don’t have to search the repository for options without being sure how they will work with GeneratePress.

In this list there could be typical plugins like:

– Slider plugin
– Photo gallery plugin with filters
– Accordion Tabs plugin

I also wanted to ask when the PRO version of GenerateBlocks will be released. It’s been in development for a long time and we can’t wait.

I have no intention other than to make constructive criticism, because I really like GeneratePress and the spirit of your project.

Hi Sergio,

Thanks for the suggestion but we really don’t have the capacity to analyze other plugins in depth – especially to determine whether they are lightweight or not.

The recommendation I always provide is to test at least a couple of options and perform speed tests before and after implementing the plugins.

As for compatibility, if a plugin is well coded and built to work with WordPress themes, it will work with GeneratePress 🙂

I would say try Envira but not sure if it has the filters options you are looking for:

I too have been looking for a nice lean and clean slider for GP with not so many options.
It would be great if GP and other could share experiences.
