Hello,
The linking features stopped working so when I go in to add a hyperlink in Wordpress I click the button and it doesn't do anything. Is this an issue from the theme or Worpdress or? How can it be fixed?

This is highly unlikely a theme issue - we haven't had any other reports on this.
Have you tried #1 here to debug first?

My hosting company said it is an issue with the newer version of yoast plugin when it updated. Do I need to reach out to them or can this be figured out within the theme?
Does the issue resolve if you disable Yoast?
If so please reach out to their support team.
