Linking issue due to doubling http while using PODS

Hi
I have troubles to use the WordPress Link when I'm not linking to static posts and pages, but to a dynamic value.
I'm using PODS and the dynamic values look like this: {@some-thing}. The problem is when the values already include the full link with https etc. WordPress automatically adds http in front. Then, the final link in frontend looks like this: http://https://www.mylink.net
I have tried to find a workaround and solutions from PODS, but in vain.

I'm not sure this issue is related to GP.
Have you tried reaching out to the plugin's support?

Indeed, it's not a problem specific to GP, but to WordPress link system. Do you know a solution to that? (get rid of the automatic http:// in front of the Link)

i haven't used PODs in a while, but i recall that there is Website Field, and that has many options including what to add or not to add in front of the link:

Is that a workable solution ?
