Link to Anchor on Homepage Not Working

I'm building a site that is primarily a one-pager and has a single extra page for specialty content. Primary menu links to anchor points work when on the homepage but not when trying to return to those homepage anchor points from the extra page. The URL when not properly redirected reads https://contoso.com/wp/#about#about.
The page is (of course) GeneratePress Pro based, designed with Elementor.
Is this functionality possible and if so how? Thanks in advance!

thats not normal behaviour - something must be interfering with the URL - can you try disabling any other plugins to see if there is a conflict.
David - thanks for the prompt response! Sure enough, seems as though RegistrationMagic was causing the conflict. I'll dig through that plugin's settings to see if there is something I can adjust or switch to an alternate. Thank you very much again!
