[Resolved] Link Removal from Post Date

Hello,

I see this article references a filter to remove the link from the post date:

The date on my posts is not a link, but I double checked and I never added the above filter to my site.

Is the link removed from the date by default now? Or is there a setting somewhere else? I checked my plugins and none of them are disabling the date link, so I’m wondering how/why my post dates are not links.

The only thing I did was added CSS so that it will show the modified date with “updated on” text for posts that have been modified.

Hi Jesse,

We’ve removed that link a few versions ago as there aren’t any date archives in WordPress by default.

The link used to just link to the single post.

You can see it’s not a link in our default install here either:
http://gpsites.co/marketer/
