Limit text to container height and click read more to see remaining text

Hi guys,

Sorry.. not sure the best way to explain what I'm trying to do but here goes:

In each post, next to my image slider I'd like to have a container containing only text set to a specific height and if there's too much text that the container begins to expand, you must click 'read more' to see the rest of the text. Can this be done?
