Hi Tom,
I am using the child theme “Mantle” and have always used the “Lightweight Social Icons”. After completing the current round of updates, I am having an issue – When I go to edit a page from the dashboard, the editor section has morphed into something else. I have disable/enabled all plugins and the conflict occurs only when I enable the Lightweight Social Icon plugin.
It does not seem to affect the front end look of the site, just the editor and also the customizer.
Can I send you more details in a private message?

Are you able to provide a screenshot of what you are seeing?
You can upload to a site like this: https://postimages.org/ and provide the direct link here.
If you want to keep it in private you can also send it through Account Issue: https://generatepress.com/contact/
Please reference this topic.
Thanks!

August 22, 2017 at 7:57 am #371237GayleYes, and also when I try to go to “Customizer” this is what is showing up.
August 22, 2017 at 8:51 am #371306TomLead DeveloperLead DeveloperCan you try #1 on this page?: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/debugging-tips/
August 22, 2017 at 9:01 am #371321GayleHi Tom,
I’ve already tried #1 – that is how I determined that it was the Lightweight Social Icon Plugin that is causing the problem. When I deactivate this plugin – all is fine. Do you want me to do the other steps listed?
August 22, 2017 at 9:14 am #371339TomLead DeveloperLead DeveloperCan you keep LSI activate and deactivate the others?
I ask because I have a few sites running LSI and GP with no issue, so there must be something else going on.
August 22, 2017 at 9:46 am #371368GayleOk – I think the problem is this plugin: Page Builder by SiteOrigin and LSI
Although, I have been using it this site for the last few years and haven’t had any issues – so it must have been with the last updates.
If I disable LSI and activate Page Builder – all is OK and the reverse – if I disable Page Builder and activate LSI – then all is OK, but when they are both activated, then I have the problem with the editor and customizer.
August 22, 2017 at 10:37 am #371401GayleI deleted and re-installed both plugins again and it seems to be OK.
thanks,

August 31, 2017 at 1:49 pm #376978GayleHi Tom,
I am back working on the site and having the same issue when I activate the LSI plugin – I get the “editor” problem. It has to be a conflict with that plugin and the SiteOrigin Page Builder. Any other ideas?
Thanks,
GayleAugust 31, 2017 at 11:22 pm #377163TomLead DeveloperLead DeveloperLooks like I might need to update Lightweight Social Icons.
For now, try doing this: https://aristath.github.io/blog/wp-hide-php-errors
September 5, 2017 at 7:14 pm #379897GayleThat would be great – Thanks for your help!
September 5, 2017 at 10:35 pm #379942TomLead DeveloperLead DeveloperNo problem! Did turning off PHP warnings fix the issue?
