I just read under Git Hub that you are no longer supporting this plugin. Is that true?

If so is it still okay to add it or would this plugin cause a risk for hackers?
I really like this plugin but do not want to put all the effort of using your short codes if you are no longer going to update the version to WP and maintain the code or it could cause a risk for hackers.
I have already experienced being hacked through WordPress so I am very cautious about what plugins I add.
Please let me know, thank you 🙂

P.S. If you are going to support this and I read it wrong when will you update to the most current WP version?
Right now we are at 5.4.2 and your version currently is 5.1.6
Hi there,
the plugin is safe to use. There is just no planned further development. If an update to WP was to introduce a security vulnerability in the plugin then we would patch it.
We recommend most users move over to Gutenberg. We recenently released our own block plugin: GenerateBlocks, which is a far better solution over Sections and LGC:
Okay thank you for that update. Very nice to know you will add a patch.
My opinion only, I really do not like Gutenberg and have disabled it.
Thank you again for the information :)
