Lightbox featured image in GP Premium

I use the Easy Fancybox plugin in a lot of my websites.
If (occasionally) I use a different theme (than GP) the lightbox function of EFB by default also works on the 'featured image'.
In GP Pro - most of my sites - I can't get it to work for this featured image. Sometimes this is desirable.
Is there an easy way to lightbox this featured image with GP & EFB?

Can you do me a favor and test if it works by default when using a twenty series WP theme?

I did the test and, apparently, it does not..
The themes that I know of are commercial themes.
Hmm, I wonder why. It might be worth checking with the plugin author to see if there's something specific that needs to be done. We can filter the featured image output, so if you need to add something to the HTML we can help do it.
