[Resolved] Lightbox Effect Not Working on Website After WordPress Update

Hi Support,

I have updated the WordPress on my site to the latest version last week, after that Lightbox effect on images not working on my all posts, I mean when clicking on any image the lightbox effect not working and the images are directly opening in web browser and users have to click back button to view the content again.

Maybe is not related but…
WP 5.5 makes changes to jquery library and maybe Lightbox be affected.

i am seeing two jQuery errors related to Fancybox.
Have you spoken with the Lightbox plugin author ?

Can you share the errors here? The plugin is outdated and no more into development and also the author website is no more active..

I use same plugin on my other websites with different theme and it working there with latest WordPress updates..

It would be helpful if you fix it…

I fixed the errors by changing the JS code with the latest patch…
