Licensing for existing customers

I think about purchasing a GP lifetime license. It happens now and then that developers change the licensing conditions and remove the one time payment. While I can understand this from their point of view, it might be a deal breaker for some existing customers. How would you handle this? Don't get me wrong, I find the GP licensing very generous. I just would like to know whether existing customers would keep the conditions of the license they paid for.

Hi Mike,
In the past, if there have been changes to the licenses, those who have purchased previously keep their existing license structure unless they make changes to their license.
So for example, if someone purchased a yearly license key when there were unlimited sites for a license key, they would keep that option unless they decided to upgrade to a lifetime license as that is a new license key with the new structure of 500 sites.
