Hi. I want to activate generate press premium.
But I put the licence key in input field and click update button, it didn’t activate.
I don’t know reason.
Please help. Thank you.May 26, 2017 at 6:15 am #324396JamalHi Albert,
Take a look at the documentation for a possible solution https://docs.generatepress.com/article/license-key-activation-issues/

June 13, 2017 at 1:27 pm #333085MarinaHi Tom,
I’m having the same issue with activation of the licence key.
I followed the instructions but it still says: GP Premium 1.3 – Not activated.
This is my site: http://internetsanity.com (if this information helps in any way).I followed up with my host (Wealthy Affiliate) and they confirmed, after my request, that they:
“have allowed outgoing connection for the API generatepress.com and you should be able to use the plugin without any issues.
Please do verify the same at your end and let us know if you require further assistance”.Is this what they were supposed to do? I sent them this:
Within GeneratePress support it’s recommended as follows: “If you don’t get a specific error, this can happen when your hosting isn’t allowing external communication with other web servers.
To fix this issue, please contact your host and ask them to allow your WordPress installation to communicate with https://generatepress.com using the wp_remote_post function.
They may have to turn PHP cURL on.Unfortunatelly, the Licence key stayed “not active” even after I deleted it, logged out from my WP dashboard, logged in and inserted the Licence key again – still no activation :/ Just a notice – I did not get any error messages at all.
Now, I read in the GP documentation about manual updating and I do not have problem with that, I just wonder how will I know that there has been an update?
Will I bee noticed through the WP dashboard that the update exists and then proceed to manual update (giving that my licence is still active)? Or will I be noticed by email that the update is available? How often are the updates made in average?
Thanks in advance for any solution. Am I right to say that regardless of this “problem” of Not active Licence key for dashboard updates – I can use my premium GP plugin with no problem?
Kind regards,

June 14, 2017 at 1:25 am #333298MarinaNope, no error at all. It simply stays “not active”.
Thanks!June 14, 2017 at 9:12 am #333506TomLead DeveloperLead DeveloperAny chance you can send me temporary admin login details?: https://generatepress.com/contact/
June 14, 2017 at 10:14 am #333549MarinaHi Tom,
this is new to me (creating temporary admin login) so I found it to be easiest for me to activate the plug in Temporary login without password (https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/)
which requires me to enter the email of the person that I want to make an access to my dashboard for. Can you somehow send me email info you want me to put into that plugin so I can make a temporary admin login for you?Thank you Tom!
MarinaJune 14, 2017 at 10:19 am #333553MarinaIf it’s convenient for you Tom, you can send me the email (to enter into the Temporary login without password plugin) to my email registered when I bought the premium GP 🙂 Or suggest what’s the best thing to do.
Thanks!

The quickest way would be to send your admin details through Account Issue on this page:
https://generatepress.com/contact/You can change the password for now (or after) so that we won’t be able to access it after the issue is resolved 🙂
