Left and right gap between the text and the screen edge

Hello,
I would like to add some horizontal gap between my text and the screen edge. I already have it on all may pages, but on my homepage it is not working. Probably because I have a full screen there.
Is there maybe a CSS style that I could only use for my homepage for the horizontal gap?

Hi there,
A simple option would be to Shift + Select the blocks you want there to be space to the sides, and from the Block toolbar you have the option to Group. This will wrap those blocks in a Group Block which has padding around it.
That way you can keep some of your content the full width of the page.
