Leaving Post Page Unassigned

Hi,

I created my own custom post display page using your WP Show Posts plugin and everything works and looks great. However, I am leaving the Post Page found under Settings>Reading completely unassigned to a specific page since it will just create a duplicate of my own page.

I wanted to know whether this would cause any issues in terms of SEO in the future.
